Ruby Tuesday - Autumn Red

It has been down in the 40*F range at night which is enough to trigger some of the trees to show their autumn colors. But since we have not yet had a frost the roses and many other flowering plants are still blooming. It is a colorful time of year in Tulsa.

We were discussing a few weeks ago what causes the color change - Rambling Woods aka Michelle looked it up and came up with temperatures drop, temperatures rise. Of course there was more - I was concerned because we had a dry summer. This is a gorgeous display.
