OK, Back to Spring

The snow has all melted away, the sun is shining,

and my outside thermometer reads 69*F (20.5*C). It seems that every year we suffer a late snow just as everything is bursting into bloom.  Here is a nice early blooming shrub.  It is a type of Magnolia but I can't tell you what kind..  It lives at the church which hosts my noon meeting.

That is so beautiful - I look forward to our shrubs coming into bloom. At this rate it's going to be June or some such - the daffodils' heads are just beginning to turn over and our crocuses (?croci) are still in beautiful condition.

Wow! Quite a splash of white... and it ain't snow. Now, that's a very GOOD thing!

So lovely!!! I would think such pretty flowers make the wait for spring so worth it. Makes me wonder if I'd want our tropical country to have winters just so we can have spring :) d

Seems there's always that March snowfall. But I understand it melted quickly. :) Beautiful blooms! Jealous!

Make sure you don't catch a cold, a lot of difference in temperature isn't good!

Drives me nuts. It's the same here, minus the snow.

So I guess all the snow is good for one thing, right? Just teasing. I do love snow. But looking at spring as gorgeous as this makes me wish we could have ours a bit sooner...
