We Have a White Christmas!

Sure enough, Santa came while we slept and left lots of presents. Most of them are for Sue's family when they come over for Christmas dinner this afternoon.

Did we get snow? Oh yes, we got lots of snow. In Oslo this would be just a light dusting, but in Tulsa it is a blizzard. 12 inches of snow on top of a thin layer of ice basically shuts everything down.

I got a nice new leather coat, new hat, scarf, and gloves. Merry Christmas to me.

Susan got a new stove with high capacity top burners, self cleaning oven, and digital time and temperature control. Merry Christmas to Susan. Smokey got a strip of bacon. He is easy to please.

Merry Christmas Bill,

Your new jacket looks sharp. Nice timing on a new jacket.

Your wife's new stove looks and sounds deluxe. It was very nice ofher to test it out with some new cookies.

Really cool leather jacket! They block the wind very well, plus they are stylish (French woman has spoken!).

Looks like you had a great Christmas Eve.

No snow here for now (well, we have plenty on the ground) but we are expecting severe winter conditions for tomorrow and tonight. Wait and see...

All the best!

These are wonderful photos, and it is so fascinating to see inside your home and also to see that Susan has a self-cleaning oven. I am soooo envious.

However, the thing that astounded me most is that Susan is in bare-feet!! And look at all that snow outside.

Those presents look so exciting and what a lot of them! Smarty pants you with the leather jacket and tartan trews - most elegant.
I bet Susan is delighted with her snazzy new cooker - hope it makes life easier for her with all the cooking she does.

I've had a lovely Christmas Day having lunch with my son and daughter-in-law and opening presents via Skype with Sharon on Maui. It was nearly as good as being with her.

The reason that Susan is barefoot is that I sent her out to take a picture of the house in the snow. She had just come back inside and slipped off her wet shoes!
