Oh, what the squirrels will do! Years ago I became perplexed by the squirrels at my bird feeders. I spoke out loud about my "plan" to attach a baffle to keep them away. My dad, a dairy farmer, an avid bird watcher and animal lover brought me up short when he said, "The squirrels gotta eat too!" Hmmm, so much for the baffle!
