Fort Gibson Lake
Luke and Cara try to smile for the camera with a mouth full of pizza. Darn good pizza by the way. We had a VERY nice time.
Fort Gibson Lake
My son Luke invited us over to Wagoner to go boating on Fort Gibson Lake. The high temperature today was 104F but nice on a moving speed boat, There was no wind and the lake was smooth as glass. He took us for a nice long ride.

The BOK Center
On our way back home we drive by the brand new Bank of Oklahoma Center. Designed by Cesar Pelli, this spectacular new event facility will open September 6 with a performance by The Eagles.
The Blue Dome
The Blue Dome was built in 1924 and served as a Gulf Oil Station. This was the first station in Oklahoma to have hot water, pressurized air and a car wash. It was also open 24 hours, seven days a week. The station attendant lived upstairs in the dome itself. It is a Tulsa landmark and now this part of downtown Tulsa is known as the Blue Dome district. The Diner is across the street.
