Weren't the builders clever in the "olden days" building what they did without today's technology?
That bridge is a thing of beauty but, I guess, taken totally for granted by the commuters.

Wonderful design motifs in the railing, Bill. And the archways are just terrific in their absolute symmetry.
However, is this meant to be "wordless"?? I make up my own definitions, too.
I love that bridge.
