Wordless Wednesday - Collar of Shame
Poor Smokey. He had some minor surgery and has to wear a plastic cone to keep him away from the stitches. It is a blasted nuisance but he wears it with as much dignity as he can muster. We can remove it in another week when the stitches come out.
Poor Smokey, I feel for him having just had knee replacement surgery myself. The big difference is I really didn't want to chew at the clips so, ergo, didn't require a collar LOL.
Poor little fella...it pains you that they cant understand that its for their own good, doesnt it? [assuming of course that they dont understand. personally, I think they understand completely but use our feelings of guilt/sorrow/sympathy to their political advantage...]

Poor dog. They are necessary though.
