Macro Monday - Wild Primrose

 

The wild primrose is found in pastures and along country roadsides.  It is discouraged by mowing so is less common alongside busy highways.

    That is so pretty and one I'm not familiar with. We get a yellow, wild primrose but not white.

    Lovely flowers!
    Right now there are lots of wildflowers alongside our roads, but I know that at any minute the road crews will start mowing. If only they would wait until the flowers finish blooming and produce seeds.
