For transportation in grand style you might be interested in a 1936 Mercedes Marlene. I didn't need to ask the price to know that I couldn't afford it. Actually, it is a kit car rather than a genuine antique so it might not be all that expensive. I still didn't need to ask.

What a beauty... :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous classic car!
ReplyDeleteIt looks genuine enough.
ReplyDeleteQuite a beauty but I couldn't afford it, either...and I'd be afraid to take it out on the road!!

Nice, LeedsLass chewed me out for posting too many car show pics. I just love them though.
ReplyDeleteLeedsLass is so BORED with the pair of you and your love of all things automobile. Don't get me wrong, I love your scenic and people photographs but cars are a no-no in my opinion. By the way, I don't care if I'm the odd one out, it won't stop me from making my point known:-)
ReplyDeleteMay I go on record as being in opposition to Leedslass? One can never have too many good car pics...
ReplyDeleteKit car or not, I'm sure it is priced well above my pay grade. Nice car though. I've seen some Auburn kit cars that I would love to own as well. Nicely captured.

ReplyDeleteFeel free YrHmblHst - I'm more than happy to agree to disagree. We Yorkshire folk are like that - a bit stroppy and gobby:-)
ReplyDeleteNow THAT'S transportation! :-)
