Macro Monday - Spring Lilacs
Here it is still in the month of March and my lilacs are blooming. The bush is just behind the deck and it smells wonderful. Sue cut some and put them in front of our bedroom window. It's hard to beat lilacs in the spring.
A long time ago I had read a book by Louisa May Alcott - Under the Lilacs. Now I realize why she chose this particular flower. They are sooo beautiful!!!

ReplyDeleteLilac in March, that sounds very early. In my old garden we used to have a double white lilac as well as the purple one. They're a delightful tree.
ReplyDeleteOh my, what a gorgeous sight and an even better perfume I bet Bill. Lilacs are also a favorite.
ReplyDeleteYou can tell it is Spring time around here. Beautiful blossoms.
