McNellie's Irish Pub, Blue Dome district, downtown Tulsa. They feature 350 different varieties of beer from all over the world. I can't attest to the beer but their hamburgers are peerless. It would be a fine place to take your lady for St. Valentine's Day.

It looks as if the king (king?) has been re-named.
ReplyDeleteIt does look like a colourful and appealing sort of pub Bill, and I agree I would be more interested in the burgers than the beer!!
ReplyDeleteSuch grand atmosphere in this stylish pub! Adore that sign!
ReplyDeleteBonjour
ReplyDeleteUne bien belle enseigne pour moi qui adore !
Impossible d'aller jusqu'à Tulsa pour la Saint Valentin car mon Hôm est au fond de son lit avec la grippe :-((
Bisous et caresses à Smokey.
Nice pic!! Valentines there would be great but Wednesday nights they have $3 hamburgers.
ReplyDeleteWe should lunch there Bill.
Where have I been?! The last time I was in Tulsa it was dry.
ReplyDeleteI love the design of the club!

Oklahoma went wet in 1959 and liquor by the drink became legal in 1986. Oklahoma's liquor laws have always been screwy.
Lovely pic!

That be-wigged gentleman doesn't look like a McNellie to me (and I'm assuming he has something to do with the name, otherwise, why would he be there)?
ReplyDeleteLove the pub doors - I tend not to think of America with a pub - bars yes, pubs no.
I love that shade of red. ^_^ Happy Hearts Day!

I'm assuming the wigged guy is a judge of some sort - I wouldn't fancy being tried by him. Next time you're in, ask for a pint of Belhaven Best Bill.
ReplyDeletebeautiful streamer :-) Visiting late from Ruby Tuesday 2, hope that you can return the visit too.
