This is much like Bob Crowe's image today in his St. Louis daily photo blog. I never think of turning autumn foliage into monochrome, but here the two of you both do it on the same day!!!
It was cloudy and raining and I was interested in the contrast between the pale yellow leaves and the dark almost black tree trunks. Sepia simplified the image and gave it almost an abstract quality.

A very nice image!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lot of leaves you still have on your trees. Your pictures makes me think that winter is really here, it makes me feel cold!
ReplyDeleteI really like this capture. Glad you did get by Woodward Park. Well done.
ReplyDeleteSo surreal in sepia, looks almost like infrared popular in the non-digital age.
ReplyDeleteI just love this image. Great work.
ReplyDeleteWow! It really is a work of art.
