The Koi in the pond at Philbrook Art Center are quite accustomed to being feed a handful of crumbs tha;t when a visitor stops to look at the fish they hurry over and get into position for a treet. They look exceptionally well fed but still, one hates to disappoint such a lovely fish..

Just stumbled onto your blog. Love it! Our photo today resembles your "hungry koi" That's what brought me here.
ReplyDeleteA great sense of movement in this shot!
ReplyDeleteFlurry of excitement when the food comes, great shot.
ReplyDeleteLove it. I reckon the fish on my left is asking for cake rather than mouldy old dough!!!
ReplyDeleteYou photo looks so nice compared to the ones I take of the koi at Maymont Japanese Gardens in Richmond. The water is always so murky and yucky taking away from the fish. Yours is clear and nice and the fish show up beautifully. Great capture. genie
ReplyDeleteBeautifully colored fish!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of the Koi, they are really interesting fish.
ReplyDeleteCool shot. I like the water surface in this photo.
ReplyDeleteI admit I had to Google Koi, but I have no problem seeing the joy in feedig them :-)
