Looking north up Boston Avenue from the front of the Jazz Depot. The section of Boston Avenue connecting 1st Street and Archer is a pedestrian walk which crosses the railroad yard running through the center of Tulsa. The tall slender object at the center is a strange steel sculpture known as "The Artificial Cloud".

Nice photo and sepia tones.
ReplyDeleteRegards!
That strange steel object in no way resembles a cloud - why is it so called?
ReplyDeleteNice pic, you are good at the Sepia photographs. (and most other types of pics also)
ReplyDeleteI would recognize that concrete work anywhere. I've spent many an hour in the Tulsa Union Depot. Love this capture. Well done.
ReplyDeleteAnd this was indeed a fascinating perspective - far into the distance. One feels drawn into the photo.
ReplyDeleteAll the angles and edges are perfect for the theme of perspective this month. And I too, don't GET the cloud impression on this piece of public art at all.
ReplyDeleteIt looks as though only the Anne/ies don't understand the "cloud" - glad I'm not alone.
ReplyDeleteI like how your eyes sees and frames the shots, Bill. Sepia gives this bridge shot a sense of history.
