When I move into my new, smaller pad in a couple of weeks' time there is a minute "private" patch of garden where this chap would sit/stand beautifully = love it.
As teenager growing up in Muskogee, trips to Philbrook were often and fun. I don't remember this hippo, but if one were built using car parts today, I doubt it would look as cool.

ReplyDeleteI love the sculptures in the Philbrook gardens.
ReplyDeleteYou making a puzzle out of this one? Yikes! It would be complex.
ReplyDeleteAm I following you or are you following me, Bill! :-D We're playing the same memes. This cool chrome steel hippo is a fabulous one for both!

ReplyDeleteAh, the days of chrome bumpers, that's one way to immortalize them!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't like to bump into this shiny hippo on the walk home from the pub.
ReplyDeleteGood shot of this sculpture.
ReplyDeleteI like your choice for black and white.
