The Tulsa State Fair is in full swing and Sue and I enjoyed looking at the exhibits and the livestock. The youngsters love the midway but we like the animals. The show barns are full of livestock and the area behind the barns are full of trailers. Getting the animals ready for to show is a family affair and mom, dad, and all the kids are washing and grooming all manner of critters.
Great shots, Bill. I absolutely love the first one.
ReplyDeleteThe first one is interesting. Especially thinking about curried herefords!
ReplyDeleteI just love the livestock of all kinds and the people, especially the kids, who are tending to them.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I love the state fair. Great animals, great rides and lots of crazy food to sample.... Sadly, Alabama no longer has an offical state fair, so our local county fair is the place for us...
ReplyDeleteThe one thing that we missed was the show barns. Maybe next year. Great reflection capture.
ReplyDeleteNice photos Bill. I love the draft horses too.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I used to take a car load of kids. I went to the animals, they went to side-show alley. We met every hour at a designated spot in the middle.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sweet welcome. Nice to be back in some ways. can't wait to go again in others.
Oh, that's the fair Yogi was talking about the other day I guess. Looks fun! I saw lamas in Peru and they are fun animals!
ReplyDeleteWho ever owns that truck is a friend of the reflection hunters. :) Very nice shots!
