That is incredible with those exciting details. If you have a super macro lens, that means you got within an inch or so away from him. If so, you are the brave one.
I guess it's beautiful in it's way but I just can't get over the creepy feeling that I get from spiders. It's great photo though, a powerful image.
I'm going to spend a few weeks in Europe. I leave next week and I hope to take enough photos for a year or so of posts on my Something Sighted blog. So I'm going from mostly black and white to European photos (probably mostly Paris). The photos will be in black and white and color. That's my plan. :)
Sweet is the last word I would use to describe a spider even though it's harmless!! It's the speed at which they run that bothers me!
I'm curious, do you just sit there with your camera waiting for bugs to come into view and then snap them? If that's the case you're both patient and clever.
Wow! I hope that's on major macro! That is an amazing creature!
ReplyDeleteOh big it is? So colorful... I bet it lures preys easily.
ReplyDeleteWow! That's one great big fellow! Haha! I really hope he gets an equally BIG meal! ;-)

ReplyDeleteI seen one similar just yesterday, but since I don't have a macro lens I stay away from it. Don't want it jumping on my camera!

Lovely light here, Bill. There are few things sweeter than morning light on the dew of a spider web.

I'm not so sure this little critter is harmless to people if the wife saw this in her bath, she'd have a heart attack!!!
