Tulsa Riverpark at 31st Street
A view of the Tulsa Riverpark looking south from 31st Street to the Pedestrian Bridge over the Arkansas River. Recently repaved and lighted running and bicycle trails run the length of the east side of the river from 11th to 101st Streets.
I see a promise of spring in that sky and park...hope it's been a good week. Neat to know that you've visited Nova Scotia in the past. I have friends in Kansas City (MO) and next time I get down, we're going to Tulsa because I want to look at Oklahoma skies and sample a bit of the culture. Might not be this year, but we'll see what the summer brings.
My wife lived in an apartment immediately South of this intersection when we first started dating. We spent so much time around the pedestrian bridge. Glad to hear they've continued improvements. Thanks for flooding back happy memories and even making me feel a wee homesick.
Super picture. I do love the way you Americans literally and metaphorically "fly the flag" - wish we Brits were a little more outgoing. Perhaps something I've learned by having a daughter who has lived more than half her life in USA?
The look of Spring is in the air, fair-weather clouds in a brilliant sky. The trees will be in bloom before long, the flag is unfurled in cold breezes now, the warm winds are close. Beautiful take!
Beautiful clouds and sky!
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous shot Bill!
ReplyDeletePlease come by and see my skywatch when you have time. Have a great weekend!

The sky is beautiful and that's a great looking flag.

ReplyDeletePaved and lighted trails along the river sound great.
ReplyDeleteI love the clouds in this!
What a lovely place to walk. The munchkin and I would likely spend hours there if we lived in the area. ~ Calico Contemplations
