Wordless Wednesday - Decorated for Christmas

Ready for Christmas - 11 South Yorktown Avenue.  Certain areas of Tulsa have become Hispanic enclaves with colorful remodeling of a latin persuation.

  1. It does look like someone has been preparing for the holidays.

  2. We are so conservative over here - occasionally (and rarely) a few lights in a tree in the garden and that's about it. Boring or what?

  3. I'm liking the tack you are taking. Nice door, porch, and overhang. Interesting colors and nice arrangement of decorations.

  5. The porch (verandah) is lovely and wide. I bet it would be cool in summer. I like the colours, too. Similar to the phone booth building two days ago.

  7. The Whittier Square District was once a very nice neighborhood that has not aged as well as it might. Recently it has become heavily Hispanic and is going through a metamorphosis of sorts. Here and there are houses that have been transformed with bright colors and quirky touches. This house is a good example. It exudes a spirit of optimism.

  8. I've never been to Tulsa, so it is fun seeing what your corner of the world looks like, especially at Christmas.
