Rainy BOK Center in Tulsa

The sparkling new Cesar Pelli designed Bank of Oklahoma Center looks a bit damp in the cold December rain. Our nice Fall weather has deserted us.

  1. Great pictures. Tulsa's a great town.

  2. Apart from the positioning on high of the traffic lights, that could be a picture of England throughout November. Evidently our wettest yet!!!

  3. Even as an architect, I like a lot of Pelli's work, but I am not a fan of this building. I drove by it in October and I noticed that some of the panels are a little stained. There are thousands of those metal panels and the joints of everyone of them presents multiple opportunities for a leak. This building will not age nearly as gracefully as the Fairgrounds Pavilion.

  4. Driller - you see this building with the practical eye of a working architect. I have no doubt that time will prove you correct.

Anne - England is famous for its damp weather.

  7. Pretty damp in Ottawa as well, with no snow so far.
