Summer Flowers


Zinnias and Marigolds - summer favorites.

  2. Marigolds have a sharp odor which is not unpleasant but repels insects. I used to plant marigolds in my vegetable garden to keep the bugs out.

  4. Oui, en anglais "Marigolds", en français "oeillets d'Indes" Ils ont une odeur âcre mais pas désagréable que les vers n'aiment pas le chou.

  5. I've used marigolds for the very same purpose, and they often work better commercial repellant. I've always thought the smell is so worth the gorgeous hues!
