It's a '53 Caribbean. Here's a '54 convertible, not to be confused with the '54 Caribbean...)

The '53s were "officially" offered in only 4 colors:
Polaris Blue, Gulf Green Metallic, Matador Maroon Metallic or Sahara Sand. A handful of '53s were specially ordered in Packard Ivory, black and Carolina Cream. The Caribbeans painted in Carolina Cream got a burgundy top and a white and burgundy leather interior, a very handsome combination. Judging by the interior as well as the exterior color of the Caribbean you show, this must be a car that was special ordered. The interior is of the correct pattern, but the color is not the color interior used in the Gulf Green Metallic cars - the leather in these cars was white where it is dark green in the car you show. «Louis» isn't saying that the car you show isn't correct, just that it appears to be a special order car. Packard would still do things like this to accommodate their customers; an example being the '55 Caribbean customer who refused to accept the power windows, so Packard built his Caribbean with manual windows. It is possible that the car you show, assuming it is a factory color, is painted in Orchard Green, though your car's green paint appears to have too much blue in it to be Orchard Green, and it isn't dark enough nor does it have enough yellow in it to be Gulf Green Metallic. «Louis» would like to see the trim and paint code on this gorgeous car!Louis la Vachehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09039777863022193315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8157832098620195163.post-85584199034504586752012-06-17T15:59:32.447-05:002012-06-17T15:59:32.447-05:00Never ever seen that colour in a car - gorgeous.Never ever seen that colour in a car - gorgeous.Leedslasshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09798802655716308540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8157832098620195163.post-3640852251390982942012-06-17T09:08:25.900-05:002012-06-17T09:08:25.900-05:00This CAN sit in my driveway... no problem. This CAN sit in my driveway... no problem.Birdmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16634185585147630883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8157832098620195163.post-60260988003272890662012-06-17T07:47:42.323-05:002012-06-17T07:47:42.323-05:00What do you mean you quit on these cars?
