Macro Monday - The Last Rose

Despite several night time dips just below freezing I still have a few roses.  The summer flowers have turned black and shriveled up but the roses are tougher than that.  It won't be long and everything will go dormant.  Enjoy 'em while you got 'em.

Wonderful to still have some lovely colour in the garden. Roses look delicate but they are hardier than many other plants.

Oui... même dans mon jardin il ne reste qu'un seul bouton de rose.
Il faudra attendre les beaux jours...
Bisous.

what a wonderful macro Bill, I love that roses still have that fragile beauty right up until the last petal falls off. Here in Perth we are in summer and the best time for roses, my very favorite flower!
